TERMS & CONDITIONS

To Book a Celebration Party, Marvel Party, or Caboose Party:

• A signed contract, the signed Terms and Conditions, and full payment MUST be received to reserve any facility.
• All parties/rentals must be paid in full at the time of booking.
• Marvel and Caboose parties must be booked at least 7 days prior to the event. Celebration parties must be booked at least 30 days prior to the event.
• For Tammany Trace rentals please contact 985-867-9490.
• All parties must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Cancellation Information:

• A party/rental canceled with more than a 7-day notice can be rescheduled or receive a CMST credit for the full payment. Expiration: All credits expire 1 year from the date of the canceled party.
• A party/rental canceled with less than a 7-day notice will forfeit the full payment.
• In the event of inclement weather, a party can be rescheduled or receive a CMST credit for the full payment in the form of a CMST gift card.

CMST Rules and Guidelines are provided for the safety and comfort of all our guests:

• No more than 40 guests are permitted per party/rental group for Caboose and Marvel Parties. For Celebration parties, no more than 30 guests are permitted. Any guest over 30 and up to 40 guests maximum will be charged a $10.00 per guest fee to the host family. The host family is responsible for payment at the end of the party.
• All attending guests are asked to sanitize their hands before entering the facility. Hand sanitizing stations or sinks for washing and disinfecting hands will be provided during indoor events.
• No child may be dropped off to attend any party without adult supervision.
• Each child will need to attend any event with their parent/guardian/adult, that will supervise the child to ensure health and safety measures are being followed.
• Adults are responsible for their children and must accompany them at all times.
• No food or beverages allowed in the Museum except for Celebration parties. Food and beverages are permitted under the Marvel and Caboose pavilions.
• We recommend that any food brought for an event be single-serving style. Examples include:
  • Juice box or individual serving juice pouch;
  • Individual cupcakes or cookies;
  • Individual serving ice cream or popsicles;
  • Individually wrapped party favors or treats;
  • No self-serve buffets.
• No grilling, cooking, use of heating devices, or alcohol is allowed inside the museum or under the Marvel and Caboose pavilions.
• No loitering, excessive running, or yelling is allowed.
• No water guns/activities, chewing gum, paint, glitter, or piñatas are allowed.
• Shoes must be worn at all times.
• You will have 15 minutes before your rental to set up under your designated Marvel or Caboose pavilion and 15 minutes after for clean-up.
• Abusive and obscene language is prohibited.
• Smoking is not permitted in the Museum or on park grounds.
• Weapons are not permitted in the Museum or on park grounds.
• Animals are not allowed in the Museum or on park grounds except for certified service animals.
• Restrooms are available adjacent to Kids Konnection Playground for outdoor events. Restrooms are available under the Large Pavilion for Celebration Parties.
• Hosts must ensure the area is left in a responsible condition when the party is completed.
